that you rub into your scalp. Although this is the same product that is used for men, There
is only 2% Minoxidil in Rogaine as compared to 5% for men. However, it is used
primarily to help regrow hairs. It does not address the problem of hair loss and does
not work for everyone.
Women who experience stress may often notice hair loss. This also applies to pregnancy,
the birth of a baby or surgery. All of these cause trauma to the body and can result in hair
loss. Once the body adapts to the situation or the cause of stress is removed or reduced,

spurring regrowth. Scalp massage with a combination of rosemary and sage will also
keep the scalp soft and help prevent the hairs from falling out. Women can look for
products containing jojoba oil or Ho Shou Wo.
The first step in preventing further hair loss is to seek the advice of a professional in the
form of your doctor. Tests will determine if there is a medical cause and
steps can be taken to correct the problem, if possible. For alopecia, there is very little that
will correct the problem so one recourse that women have to purchase a wig or hairpiece.
