Back Pain
Back pain is quite common and people suffering from this type of pain rely on both, age-old therapies as well as the modern techniques, for their treatment. The age- old therapies, such as massaging and acupuncture have all been tried, to alleviate the pain. All these treatments claim to be effectual in reducing and at times obliterating back pain. However, there is no parameter to assess the accuracy of their claim. Patients have had different individual experiences that cannot be generalized.
Physiotherapy and exercise also play an important role in controlling the pain. It has also been proved statistically that back pain can be treated with alternative medicine. Back pain is a common occurrence in large sections of the population and the oral medication available is usually sufficient to subdue it. Surgery is recommended only in a few cases of severe back pain. Most patients prefer to seek other the recourse of alternative medicine. The alternative remedies are effective in reducing the pain and tense muscles, without the help of medication.
Back pain can be an acute or chronic disabling condition. At times, an acute lower back pain may be caused by a traumatic event, such as a car accident or a fall. In such cases, the soft tissues, muscles, ligaments and tendons are damaged, resulting in unbearable pain. In the case of a serious accident, vertebral fractures in the lumbar spine may also occur, which is manifested in the form of excruciating pain. It is advisable for the patient to consult a doctor and have an x-ray taken, before indulging in any kind of medication.

Every person experiences back pain at least once in his or her life. Back pain affects 8 out of 10 people at some point in their lives. There are plenty of reasons for back pain to occur. Some reasons of these are:-
# You might have a herniated disk.
# You might have sciatica.
# You might have spinal stenosis.
# You might have Spondylosis.
# Your muscles might be imbalanced.
# Your posture might be poor.
# You might not be getting enough exercise.
