Asthma Cough

Asthma cough is one of the symptoms of an asthma attack. The cough can vary in intensity depending on the degree of the condition on your body. The cough can also vary according to the intensity of the trigger factor.

Asthma patients once they learn their condition, they should also come to terms with the symptoms. This is because they should learn to live with it. A patient who usually has asthma cough should always have medication that relieves the cough. This should go hand in hand with the asthma inhaler. One should get proper asthma medication from a doctor.

Over the counter medication for asthma cough are highly discouraged. For those who get a cough with mucus, one should be careful not to choke when having an attack. A prolonged cough is dangerous as it can cause other conditions such as trachea and lung infections. It should therefore be treated as soon as possible. The triggers of asthma cough should also be avoided as much as possible.
